I must admit after reading the reviews on this motel, I was almost scared to book the room. However, I really liked the fact of how the location was convenient to just about everything. I decided to take a chance, so I booked it and I am so glad I did! When we arrived, we were greeted by a gentleman who was very nice and friendly. The motel was practically empty with the exception of us and maybe 3 other people renting rooms. We checked in on a Thursday. The room was clean, I didn’t see any bugs like the reviews that I had read about the motel suggested that I would. The water was hot, the linen was clean, the room smelled fresh and you could tell that they were starting to renovate various rooms and also the outside of the motel itself. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bathroom has a shower head but no way to turn on the shower, but other than that, I was thoroughly pleased with this place and when back in Memphis, I will definitely stay here again!!
I don’t understand why the reviews say all of these things. I walked into an extremely clean facility, smells like it should (fabuloso) and the staff very helpful and professional on both shifts. Crystal rented out my family a spacious safe clean very very clean room for the night we were in town. Nice view and whatever you didn’t pack they have extras behind the counter. Thank you KING INN . We Will recommend other families in the near future.
